Exhibit A is Andrew Lloyd-Jones, a writer and advertising consultant. While he grew up in Alaska, he did not live in an igloo, though yes, it was a bit like Northern Exposure at times. He now lives in London and specifically Islington, a stone’s throw from the tennis courts at the top of Highbury Fields, and an equally pleasant stroll from the deer, goats and aviary in Clissold Park further to the east. Both are highly recommended as places of quiet contemplation, repose, and French snacks (La Fromagerie, Highbury Barn; Belle Époque, Newington Green). He is also one of the founders of Liars’ League, a monthly evening of performed new writing in Soho.
Exhibit A, I come riding towards you on the wind of coincidence. In a desperate act of mid Friday afternoon boredom I opened a group email from someone, picked some email addresses, followed them to relevant myspace pages and somehow ended up here.
Boring, but true.
